Ms Grit
Well, all along I said that I thought my buck was 5 1/2 years old and was told "No Way" 3 1/2, 4 1/2 tops. Well, I just had to know so I sent the 2 bottom teeth out (along with a check) to DeerAge.com to be aged via the cementum-annuli ageing analysis. Got my results back today and yep, I WAS RIGHT !!! My buck from October 14, 2013 was forensically aged at 5 1/2 years old . . . and no, I don't want to know what he could have been in another year, not with state land less than 1/2 of a mile in either direction of where I shot him. PV216
Do you any pics of him from previous years? It would be cool to see the antler development from year to year. Either way, congrats again on a great deer. "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." _X7
There was no doubt in my mind how old he was. There might be a brother or two up there still walking.

Yes there definately is Mike, but they're laying low. Oct 12-15th seems to be their weekness . . . Ms Grit
For how much?... It was about 30 bucks for a 180 day turn around, but I opted for a quicker response, an additional 20 bucks I think . . . here's a link to information on the company: http://www.deerage.com/ BowhunterNJ 1 "Well Behaved Women Seldom Make History" - Laurel Thatcher Ulrich NJ State Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs MemberNRA Life Member NWTF Women In The Outdoors Member UBNJ Member
