BHC
Great job by NJCPO and Elmwood Park PD Lt. Sutton received information that an individual was regularly posting trail camera photos on social media from a location within a Bergen County Park where hunting was not allowed. The information also alleged that the individual planned to hunt the location on the opening day of archery deer season. Lt. Sutton conducted a foot patrol of the area and located a ground blind, bait pile, trail camera and a cellular trail camera. Working jointly with detectives from the Elmwood Park Police Department, Lt. Sutton, CPO Recruit Agnello and CPO Hausamann monitored the area. CPO Hausamann apprehended the suspect, hunting from the blind. The hunter was issued summonses for possession of a nocked arrow within 150 feet of an occupied dwelling and failing to produce a hunting license upon request. Tarhunt
Good news. My mom and her neighbors were just warned to be on the lookout for a poacher is their area. I'll be in contact with the CO when I get down there on Thursday. I have no sympathy for poachers. Haskell_Hunter and LPJR 2 "The Nation Which Forgets Its Defenders, Will Itself Be Forgotten". So you won't see a no trespassing sign on that type of property. https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
