A friend has given me his crossbow to sell for him. It is a Camouflage Excalibur micro with a four-arrow quiver. It comes with an HHA optimizer and a Dead Ringer Widow Maker red dot scope. It also has a soft carry case, four bolts, one practice head and three broad heads.  The original value of every was $1445.46. The bow is in excellent condition and looks like brand new. He is asking for $600.00 firm for the package. May only be picked up in Ledgewood.N.J. P.M. Me if interested. Thanks for looking.

I need to tell you that the only reason why he is selling this Excalibur Micro is because he bought the newest crank micro model,  He is 74 and wanted a crank rather that a cocking rope. This bow is deadly accurate with the HHA optimizer. All you need to do is range the target, dial the range on the HHA and put the single red dot on the target and it is hit! This bow has take two black bears and three white tail deer. Even after that is look like brand new since it was so well taken care of.

$1445 value for everything? What differs from the $899 package price tag on the xbow? Seriously, not busting chops. I have been looking at buying an excal

If I'm not mistaken I think the scope might be the "widow maker" scope that Dead Ringer was making which was roughly around $150 or so and I think the HHA crossbow sight system that comes with a rail mount is roughly around the same price, give or take a few.

I figured the total original pricing as follows.

Crossbow $899.99

HHA  $209.49

Widow Maker Scope  $184.99

Soft Horton Bow Case $130.00

Four Bolts $30.00

Three broadheads $30.00

That actually comes to a total of $1484.47

In any event $600.00 is less than half of the original pricing for a crossbow in excellent condition with great accessories.

The Widow Maker Scope by Dead Ringer is an illuminated red circle with a red dot in the center of the circle. It also has a rheostat so the brightness can be turned up or down. This is used because the bow has HHA optimizer on it. When you range the target you just set the optimizer to the yardage and then, the red dot is dead on. This is a great system for the very best in accuracy.

Thank you for the explanation, unfortunately i really don’t like dots and the optimizer set ups. Not saying they aren’t good, just personal preference. Good luck with the sale, if your friend opted to keep the HHA/ scope set up for his new xbow i would buy this one in a heartbeat.
