Updated History Of 35 Whelan's Bear

Originally handled as a yearling in 2008... Which means he was born Jan. 2007... Weighed 132 lbs when handled... Means he was 10yrs 10 months old... Originally handled in Jenny Jump State Forest... Only caught once...

How did you get that info already ?  My son shot a really big bear last year and it had a lip tattoo . Figured we could get some history from that but F&G told us it would take at least a year to get any info on the bear . Is there a website to get this info ?  Would love to know the age and where he came from .

He said he called with the tattoo number, they took the information down and called him an hour later with the bear's history

Thanks .  I didn't get the tattoo #.  I will give them a call with the tag #  and see if I can get some info .
