Anyone else get 10 feet of rain last night?

Man it absolutely POURED down here in South NJ!  My pool cover went from nothing to like 6 inches of water overnight.  Been pumping it off since like 9:30 this morning...still going!

Trying to convince us that 6" is actually 10'.  I see how you operate

Around 4:30 pm yesterday we steamed through the Raritan bay to belford. 

Staten island looked like it was under a waterfall from far away  lol

You pork rollers got hammered this time.  It wasn't nearly as bad up here in Taylorhamsville.  But we got plenty.  Fortunately, these NW winds are drying things out.  I can't believe the slopes I have walked on recently that are normally solid like granite that are more like swamps still.  Time for fall and drier weather for a change.

It rained so hard, I heard my law screaming for a lifeguard. Couple days of rain next week according to the 10 day forecast.

Nope, because 1) I never saw you catch a trout and 2) on our fluke trip, the 1st mate measured all our fish.

also, once again the rivers are messed up for my weekend. seems to be the normal now. rivers look good all week, then we get heavy rains on a thursday or friday.

My mom's farm got devastated last night with a huge tidal surge leftover from the hurricane. She lost dozens of trees including several pear and apple trees, her vehicles and several mowers were under water. There is debris washed up onto her property from the bay. At least her power is back on. I'm going down next week with several chainsaws to help clean up. I'm still bringing my archery gear but, I don't know if I'll have time to hunt.

I hunt behind a ladys house near columbus and her road is still closed with water accross the road. Says I need a canoe to get to my stand. I wonder if it is easier or harder to shoot swimming deer? LOL
