Zone 2 Stand Thieves

So I walk into my spot this morning (private land), very early only to find that my stand has been stolen. Being that I planned on getting in very early, I still had time to go to another stand well before daylight. I sat the morning, didn't see squat, and went back to the area my stand was stolen from to look around in the daylight. They took everything, the lifeline, bow holders, and the stand. This stand was the biggest POS you could ever imagine. No real seat or backing, no armrests, nothing. Just the ladder, platform, and a metal seat that makes your ass numb after 30 minutes. To make matters worse, I check the camera I have in that area which they didn't steal because it was facing away from the stand so I guess they didn't see it. Wouldn't ya know I had 4 bears come in this morning. To the thieves I say this: It is my sincerest hope that you fall out of the stand, break both legs, and develop sepsis in the hospital. After months of agony and recovery, I hope you get hit by a bus and get a flesh eating amoeba lodged up your asshole. That's all I have to say. Rant is over. Just wanted to vent as I know it has happened to many of you.

Hopefully the scumbag falls out of it, and dies a slow and painful death.

Sorry to hear it. I've had so many treestands stolen I decided to just hunt on the ground, it's not worth it anymore.

I never understood why someone would go through the time & effort to steal an old rusty stand. But I've come to the conclusion it's either an anti-hunter or another jealous hunter who resents my being in "their woods".  Either way, I too hope they decide to use it, fall, and become parapalegics spending the rest of their lives eating venison smoothies through a straw.

It is more aggravating when it's on private property. In my life I had 1 camera & a lock on/sticks stolen. It really sucks.

You have every right to be angry.  Some people just plain suck.  Take Buck 154s advice on the stand and get that bear!

Got my climber outside and doused in scent killer. Gonna try and get out tomorrow or Thursday

Always sucks if people tamper with equipment or even steal it.
