I finally got around to making an adjustable footrest for my summit viper. I'm sorry I didn't do this much sooner as it is ridiculously comfortable once you get the length set up correctly. Took about 15 mins to make including sewing a loop in the end of the leftover strap that I had that came with the climber and painting the 3/4 schedule 40 PVC pipe that I had lying around. 20181006_162835.jpeg20181006_162714.jpeg

Nice. If s deer slips in on you and you take your feet off does it swing much? Movement might get you pegged..

Not really. As you bring your feet closer to the platform to step off the footrest, there is still some downward pressure on the pipe so it really only swings if you kick it. If you are sitting upright instead of lounging, I found it is very comfortable to place the footrest only a few inches in front of the platform, so there is very little movement to get back on the platform.
