I have been using the free version of the the Huntstand app since Trimble GPS Hunt was sundowned. I have had good results with regard to creating"tracks" and switching between topo map overlays and hybrid maps. Recently I sprung for the premium version because it has a feature where you can tap a location on the map and find out who owns it. I tapped a spot on Paulinskil WMA that I have hunted on and off for years. It listed it as private. I checked with DFW and they assured me it is part of the WMA. I tried to contact the distributor of the app with no success.
