Z5 live from the Hemlock tree

Can lightening strike twice in same spot. One year ago today I took a big 9 pt on a live hunt.  There are several good white oaks that were producing here last year when most of the other whites were barren. I am 2 miles from home. My whites are producing big time there. I got in tree by 5:40 am. Disappointed I didn’t see any acorns nearby but hopefully it’s because the deer are gobbling them up and will be moving well in this heavy fog. I guess I can get rid of my doe head in freezer now.  Good luck everyone.

Nothing spooks deer more than my stank…

Freaked out something was trying to climb tree. I could feel it shaking or there is something above me. I shined my phone light down and it stopped but I see nothing. Tree was shaking.  This is a big hemlock. Still dark. Hope it was just a coon

First customer a nice mature doe. Straight at me straight under me walked straight away. If it were a shooter buck no good shot opportunity. The whites are dropping good. Still foggy.
