Bought it on the 19th, then came across a deal on an r3 unit and got that one to. Need to sell this one to offset cost of new new one as I can't return it.

I thought the DFR 8 is more often used in the south like Florida or Texas but I might be wrong..

maybe, i don't know. But Jersey does need a well rounded detector since all bands are in use in this fine state and this unit does it, with features to run it how you want.
