Fall trout fishing.

Well? Since hunting season as a whole is a wash this year,I have far to many things to do before I can sart replacing any gear I was forced to sell earlier this year, I decided to go and do some trout fishing after some chores I had to do, yesterday was a day off from work and I hit up the North branch for a few hours, when I got there the water was very low and very clear, in one pocket I found a very large and very dead brookie maybe 19" or so, after walking the stream for a bit I saw one spooky fish. I then went to another deeper pocket and found two other fish that refused every lure I tossed thier way, they even passed on power bait!! But when I dug up a worm and gave that a try, BINGO! A fish nailed it. After a short fight I landed and released a 16" brookie. All in all, a nice time out.

Funny.. I've been seeing a few trout in some of the pools up and down the Black river.. Whenever i run into a fisherman they always complain they aint catching anything.. Could be their problem is they only fish within 100 yards of the common parking areas..Like eveyone else does on a daily basis...
