Got off of work today at 3:30 and decided to hit the Mills up for an evening hunt. Since I was weedwacking all day at work and smelled of gas I decided to use my new ss stealth tenpoint crossbow and ozonics. Got settled in by 4:30 and turned on the ozonics. At 5:50 I see this buck working his way down wind feeding on acorns I guess the ozonics works because he got to 30 yrd of me and I squeezed of the shot. The bolt found his mark and the deer piled up about 100 yrd away. So tonight I broke the cherry on the Tenpoint with a good public land pine buck., and gave my ozonics machine a good field test. He was not my biggest pine buck but was happy to burn a tag on him he field dressed at about 145lbs and had a 10" spread. Sorry for the crappy pic I need to teach Chuck at Killers Kitchen how to use an old point and shoot camera

Here he is in the field so you can see his body size. He's a big bodied deer for the pines

Congrats! Nice buck.

I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
