Well the time has come once again to plan our annual spring black bear hunt to Stony Brook Outfitters in New Brunswick Canada the last week if May right before Memorial day. This is a five day fully guided bear hunt. Our success rates over the past three years have been great. Last year I had six hunters join me and my group and they shot four bears. My son Chris and I both passed on bears and only one of our guys was very unlucky and did not get a bear to come in to his set ups. The trip includes allowing you to take one black bear, transportation to and from your stands, field care, skinning and quartering of your animal and freezing it for transport home. Great accommodations and all your meals. You also have some great fishing opportunities and boats with motors and all your gas is included in the cost of your hunt. This is not only a great hunt but also a great adventure. If you own a four wheeler there are hundreds of miles of back roads and trials to explore. The camp is located on the shores of Palfrey Lake and just seven miles from the Maine boarder. The camp is warm and comfortable and the camp generator provides electric so while you are at a beautiful rustic camp you can enjoy all the amenities of home including indoor bathrooms and hot showers. The cost for the weeks hunt is $1,700.00 the only additional costs are your hunting and fishing licenses and tips for you guide and cook staff.
