Swamp_Yankee
Staying at a buddy's cabin at the northeast end of the lake just outside of the town of Greenwood Lake, NY for the weekend. The wife and I will have one night to ourselves-any good waterfront/dockside dining places to check out? As far as food we're not picky-wings, burgers, pub grub, etc... I live back in the woods you see My woman and the kids and the dogs and me I got a shotgun a rifle and a four wheel drive and a country boy can survive

Haskell_Hunter
You can take a short drive into NY and go to Warwick. Lots of cool stuff to do there along with farms selling fresh food, a vineyard, and I think there's a brewery up there too. Rusty 1 Sapere aude. Audeamus. When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.

If you like ice cream take your wife up the mountain to the creamery. http://bellvalefarms.com/

If you time it right, you can get a hot dog at the stand by the Appalachian trail, and then go down the road for ice cream. It just opened last weekend, but the Renaissance Faire is running just down the road from there. http://renfair.com/ny/ That's a fun time to walk around and people watch. Rusty 1 Sapere aude. 230jhp
The Castle Tavern on East Shore Drive (near the state line) is open after being closed for a while. Years ago they had the most awesome burgers on pumpernickel bread, but that was several owners ago. There is another good place on ESD on the north end of the lake, actually that section of the lake is commonly refered to as the "arm". Again I haven't been there recently, last time I was there was Sunday Brunch about 10 years ago. There are several good places in the village.
