Shrewsbury Rocks Area 10/2

We got out there around 1pm and fished till 6. Managed to catch four Stripers. It was tuff trying to keep the Bluefish off the plugs as there are tons of 6-10 pounders all over that area. Fish were tight to the beach in 25 feet or less. Marked lots of bait I can only guess was Rainfish or P Nut's. Fishing is only going to get better. The hell with hunting in 85 degree heat lol.

what kinda bait were you guys using Stevo? headed out this weekend and wondering if I should get some fresh clams... got a lot of frozen bait, but fresh always seems best

We went last Saturday for porgies and sea bass. Managed 7 sea bass and 33 porgies. Went this Saturday to the glory hole (of all names they picked) trolled for Tuna with no luck. Switched to reel and picked up a few ling. with no rope to anchor we headed in for some sea bass and porgy action.
