Value on a Daisy Model 21 and accessories??

Recommended Posts

I recently was given an old Daisy Model 21 BB gun and an old daisy wooden box filled with B.B. tubes. The gun has a little rust on it but it shoots just fine. I did a quick internet search and it shows that this stuff could be worth quite a bit. I was wondering if anyone on here had any experience with them and could give me an idea on how much they’re worth if I were to sell them. Thanks in advance guys!

That auction was 2 Years ago.  was a limited audience did not say or I missed if it sold.   I would not be in a hurry unless you are but there is a Buyer for everything and that would be something collector would garb up.  I would Snoop Search around some Air Rifle Firer arm sites. before going any Further. Europe is a good place to start air guns are super popular there. Good luck.   And hell some boxes sell for big money let alone a complete set of original items.

  • 1 year later...

I happened across this chat as I too am looking for a value on this same exact model no. 21 daisy double barrel. I own 3 of them. I am 49 years old and my dad bought all 3 guns the same year I was born. I was born in 1970. 2 that have both been shot. I played with both when I was a kid. Both in excellent condition! 1 of the 2 fired guns ended up with a crack in the stock close to the shoulder but it was sent away to Daisy for a new stock years ago. The new stock is slightly lighter in color than the original. Not by much but enough to notice the difference with no problem. Absolutely no rust whatsoever and never been left outside over night and never been layed down on asphalt or concrete that I know of. Even though I ventured off far away from the house, I knew to take good care of the guns, because if I didn’t, or as my dad would say “heads will roll” and in my house nobody wanted that. 1 that has never been shot and never been out of its white with blue writing cardboard box. (today looks dusty or rather dirty white) In fact, the last person to lay eyes on this gun would have been the very person to package it at the factory. I am sure that the 3 guns combined are worth at least $3,000.00 at a minimum. My dad assured me of this and probably more than that today. He had them appraised in 1992. The 2 fired guns in their condition at $800.00 each. The 1 in mint condition at $1,400.00 and now 27 more years have passed and I am curious to find out how much more if any. I will get some pictures together soon. I just had to share for now.

I thought, growing old would take longer !

I spent most of my money on shotguns and fly rods.  The rest I just wasted.

I am back after taking a few pics of the 1 of 3 that I feel is in the worst condition. This is the one I talked about in which the stock was replaced. It is slightly lighter in color than the rest of the plastic. I happened to have this one out as the other 2 I mentioned are packed away. I have a 9 year old son who played with it a bit this past summer. These pictures are as is without a good cleaning. I will have to get the other 2 down at a later time.
