Fished a tournament yesterday in NY state, it was tough fishing for those of us that haven't been to this lake before and I struggled all day to catch a bass. Had no problem hooking into over 20 pickeral and a ton of crappy but bass where hard to catch. I did finally manage to hook into one and well it was a good one that made my day. Got him on light tackle with 6lb test and he wrapped around a dock post on me two times but I got lucky and managed to get him in. I took lunker for the tournament and am currently leading lunker for the session. Fished weighed in at 5.78

Great bass and even better for a tournament. 

But WTH are you using 6# line for in a tournament? Crazy but it worked this time . I can see maybe in open clear water drop shot fishing but not skipping under docks!!!!!!!  Congrats
