Seaside boardwalk on fire

On the news now looks like the entire south side of boardwalk burning. Doesn't sound like the fire department can get it under control looks bad!

They said winds are so strong its embers are causing other fires.....

Gas lines are running under the boardwalk...Franklin Ave is the nearest they can get to the fire...they have to start demolishing the boardwalk to shut off the gas lines.

Smoke is so strong ...weather radar is picking it up as rain.

Wow, this sounds absolutely horrible!  I hope they get it under control quickly, after the damage from Sandy this is even more tragic as that area was just rebuilt!

Looks like at least three blocks are a total lost. Drawing water from the bay now.
