Fluke Recipes!

It's that time of year, what's your favorite way to cook fluke?

For a basic, quick & easy meal, I just dredge in flour, and breadcrumbs that I spice up with old bay. Right into hot oil. For a little fancier meal, I make a homemade jalapeño mango salsa, and top the baked fluke with that. It's simple to make, chopped up mango, jalapeño, red onions, cilantro, and fresh lime juice. Toss it all together and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour before you put it over your baked fluke.

Post up your favorite way to cook fluke!

My two favorites are a little out of the ordinary to some folks but until you try it you don’t know what you are missing. First is steamed then chilled and eaten cold with a little cocktail sauce. Second (my kids favorite) is bang bang fluke. Beer battered fluke chunks served under bang bang sauce which is a mixture of mayonnaise, sriracha, Thai chili sauce and a franks sweet chili sauce

Put fillets in a baking dish , crush a sleeve of ritz crackers and sprinkle on top.

Melt a stick of butter and drizzle over the top of the crackers and fish.

Slice a lemon thinly and put the slices on top evenly across the dish.

Bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes

The ritz crackers and lemon combo is def one of the best

I’ve heard that this is a phenomenal recipe and I was just telling the wife tonight that we need to start trying some new ones.

Latley we’ve been making ceviche and absolutely loving it.
