Did some shooting today and I noticed a really bad tail whip while shooting with nocturnal knocks.. I switch back to original knocks . Just curious if anyone else had this issue.. It does bother me about not shooting light knocks just weird .. They shot good last season..

Sykk,

Do the Nocturnals snap on the string in the same manner as your standard nock does?

How is the fit on the string compared to your standard nock?

Do you or can you see your standard nock in flight? Perhaps your original nock is fishtailing too but since it is not a lit nock, it is not as obvious.

Are you peeking to watch the nock in flight and perhaps torquing the grip or release in order to see the lit nock in flight?

Try rotating the nock to a different fletch.

These are the only ideas I could come up with on the flight of the arrow with the Nocturnal. I shoot them along with some of the Ignitor nocks and arrow flight is beautiful. Same POI as my field points too.

If I can help, just ask.
