Any Reviews On T-Bones Deer Butcher?

Last season I tried a new butcher (new to me) who is located 20 mins from me, I and few others didn't like the results I would rather not say who this place is cause this is just my and a few others opinion and wouldn't be fair to this business person/butcher. Now within 10 mins from my home is T-Bones Deer Butcher and I'm looking for reviews from members who used them in the past. I'm very pleased with Janeks Meat Market in Passaic I've always used them in the past but then I lived within 10 mins of them, now I'm about 75 mins away, if need be I will drive there to use them.

Thanks......

I just compare everyone to Janeks, he is more expensive but well worth it, downside is he isn't in a great area....

If you like attitude from a prick then I say give him a try. You should tell us who it is that you weren't happy with and why so that if we plan on using them we know what to expect.

Your correct about informing others ....the place was Tom the Butcher the special stuff wasn't up to my standards and a few others agreed that had deer processed there, of course no matter where you go you will pay extra for this stuff but his stuff was tastless like the italian sausage had no fennel. The shop is very professional and clean. I guess from reading from others my expectations where high. If you say that the other shop are pricks then I will stay away.....thank you for the lead.

T-Bone is Tom the butcher's father and the original Tom the butcher, his son took over the original shop.I used to go to the father but I got tired of his wise ass remarks every time I went in there. One night I was dropping off a deer and picking one up,I was tired after trailing the deer for 4 hours,he told me he didn't want the one I was dropping off,I said fine, paid him for the deer that he processed and proceeded to leave. then he said "alright I'll take it".. I told him to F-off and never went back.Every time I went in there he gave me a hard time. A few of my friends stopped going to him for the same reason. I use 57-west,never had a problem with them.I love their jerky. However, the one thing I don't like about them is that the burger doesn't come from just your deer, but I found out that most butchers do a mass grinding, they just don't let their customers know,at least they're honest. They are 5 minutes from your house,I forget the name of the road but it's the road that connects 519 and Stryker road.

Janek's may be in a rough area but there also seems to be police officers getting food there. Nice to know the man is close by.

I spent most of my money on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.
