Fished there 10 years ago and caught some small fish (croakers?).  One guy had a 30 lb Cobia.

I've fished there at least once a year for the last 35 or so years, give or take a few years i wasnt able too... And last week was the worst i can ever remember.. Fished thru 2 tides and Nothing but 6" round heads and a few spots.. and when i say "spots" i literally mean spots cause they were so small they looked like a spot on your hook when reeling them in... Complete waste of time.. Croaker?.. not a one caught by anyone all night.. Crabs?.. yeah crabs galore!!!.. But unfortunately they werent under the pier where you could trap them. They were out where the fish were suppose to be eating everyones bait...
