Can't make these days but might be looking to hook up on a charter in the near future on a Thursday or Friday.Been talking to a few guys from work that have never Fluke fished and may be interested. What are your prices and what kind of tackle is supplied?

a 6man charter is 750... 6am-230,3 pm   we supply rods bait tackle... its bring your own bucktails  and gulp......

They won't want to pay that, especially since they don't know what they are doing,we'll probably just hit a head boat..ha

it ends up being 125 pp plus tip.... if you go on a party boat, that end up being 80 plus tip.... so u pay a lil more and get the entire boat to yourselves... its actually a good deal... either way good luck with the trip you take

I think you're probably right...  I havent been on a party boat for anything other than blues.. I went twice.. The first time sucked as we were packed in like sardines. Had to almost literally fight to keep my spot in the back of the boat. Bathrooms were caked in puke and everyone on board was pretty much a drunkin a-hole.. Fortunately i can be the biggest one in the crowd when i have to be, and in this case,  i did.. went a second time just to make sure the first time was for real, and it was...  And after having to pay for lost tackle due to tangled lines, the difference in price gets somewhat  tighter...

Relatively speaking, a buck 25 per doesnt sound bad at all... but i think it worthy to note, I think flounder can be bought at the store for something like $10 bucks a pound ( my guestimate ) .. so, looking at this  from a purely economical POV,  unless you catch over 12 lbs of edible meat, It aint worth the trip.. Just sayin... :cupcoffee:

if frozen fish from the market is what one wants then yes.... you are correct, however most are on the sites as outdoor men and the zen of catching your own fish is somewhat awesome. plus unlike the party boats we split the catch evenly, including what myself and mate may catch in between helping the customers... we cant always promise a boatload of fish but we can promise an awesome trip on the parker pete....

Oh i agree 100%.. Nothing like being out there and catching your own fish... I'd do alot more of it if i didnt get sea sick all the time.. Generally i stick to fresh water, coastal piers or surf casting but do like to take 1 or 2 charters a year for whatever seems to be biting...
