Anyone Try This Scent?

Not much into using deer scents over my 33 years of hunting, but willing to try every now and then, a friend tried this last year over his cam and he got pictures of the biggest bucks in his area, just want to know if anyone else have tried it and what results did you get?

Never the scrape generator. But I have seen the buck bomb estrous bring in some big deer.

I need to try some things, cause where I hunt it's so vast the deer can be anywhere

The only scent I use is ConQuest VS-1................it is the best estrous sent on the market. I have shot 4 nice bucks the past 4 years using it. There is NO DOUBT they were coming to my scent. I have tried 1000 other scents and they simply do not work. VS-1 is expensive (50 bucks) and comes in two forms (liquid & stick). I use both and have shot 3 nice 8ptr & a big 9 the past 4 yrs using it. BUY IT FOR THE RUT!!!!!!

nmc02, I remember when they first came out and wanted to try it, and still do as I hear only great things about it, but I can't come to terms to spend $50 on deer piss

I had real good results using the deer quest scent sticks.

IMO $50 with results is a hellova lot better investment than putting $10 in the toilet..  Not that i would pay $50 for a bottle of deer piss... Just sayin...

nmc, if I did bite the bullet which do you like to use better, liquid or the stick?  Also have you used the rutting buck scent as well?

I have had equal luck with stick and liquid. I have not had luck w the rutting buck. The VS-1 produces during the rut. If you get the stick, I simply keep it in a zip lock bag (It could dry out if left open or not air tight). When I use the stick, I pull off the top and rub some on trees & then roll the scent above the plastic container and leave out on ground. As I said, awesome results! I have tried several others and none compare. Last season I put it out and I shot a nice 8 as it had its nose in air smelling the scent. Use ONLY during Rut.

VS-1 is good stuff. I really like their Ever-Calm. I like the Deer Quest sticks b/c the oil in it sticks to trees leaves etc.... It last a couple of days. Also if the wind switches it is a great cover scent since the oil will stick on the deers nose. Kinda like what Nose Jammer scent advertises. Remember you need to use the correct scent at the correct time.
