I just hope it doesn't harm their other 2 stores.  The one near me in Sucassuna has never been better since it moved into a new mall.

Yeah i use the one in Sucassuna Frequently.. Wont go near Dicks since they banned AR15s.. never liked them much anyway..

Their store has changed for the worse when they moved into the new mall in Paramus.... IMO.

The hunting- shooting dept. has a lousy inventory.

I use to buy at on of stuff from reloading supplies to firearms and clothing a couple of years back.

Seems like there prices and selection have gone down hill.

I could see they had no chance after Dicks moved in.

Maybe it's cause Tony not around anymore...

hey it really bad to know that Ramsey store has been closed and it is goin to move to the other place.It was one of the best store to for shopping. I always got the best and quality things from Ramsey.

No, not yet.  I talked to their Succasunna store manager recently about it and nothing new yet.  They've looked at a lot of new sites, but the current Realtor made it clear he wasn't going to let them lease their same space at any cost.  He's obviously found a larger operation that can take over the Ramsey space for more $$ and some additional realty as well.

Yes I was at Dicks yesterday and somebody is doing a big renovation to the old Ramsey Outdoors and they are adding the 2 stores next to it as well.  Whoever is moving in will have a huge store.

That was the thing all along, the owner of the property had a big fish on the line that wanted 100% of his property for good $$, so he raised Ramsey's rent through the roof knowing they couldn't afford it and took the better deal that covers all three buildings combined.
