Its that time of the year for Blueberry picking

Hit up my secret spot off Edgar road in Jackson. With all the rain this year the bushes were loaded with huge berries and was able to pick about 3 gallons in a couple hours. Now its time to make some jelly!

Up here, I've been getting my fill of blackberries so far.  I'll have to see if our blueberries are ready and if the bears left me any.

My parents used to get tons of elderberries and make jelly, just outstanding. Then I think the town sprayed pesticide or something and it killed a bunch of the bushes. Shame, that jelly was awesome!
