Slow Trail Cam Month

Went to check on my cam this morning, nothing worth posting.... three spikes, a few does with one fawn and one bear, all the deer came in numerous times/days.

 

I saw more turkeys roaming around, but this past spring I heard just one gobble !!!

 

I hope things pick up as far as deer sightings !!!!

I've been checking the fields on my drive home and with all the rain, seems like the deer haven't moved into those areas yet like they have the past couple years.  Usually these fields are packed, but they were flooded out bad with the near daily rains...so that is having a big impact.  I haven't been out in the woods, but wondering how that's affected the forage such as the oaks and acorn crop that will start dropping in a few weeks.

With all the rain we got the weeds in the field I walk thru has grown to 6', it was a hard walk this field is a hill. I did see some acorns (still green) on the ground near my cam.
