Bowhuntertothecore29 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 (edited) Hey y'all! I've been debating whether to post this or not, because I don't have the artificial head yet, but I couldn't resist! I would like to thank Jason at JerseyJays Taxidermy for helping me prepare the skin for mounting! Hope y'all enjoy! This is the bird that I took with Paul (Drop Tine) and MarkMartinFan (New Jersey Hunter)! I incorporated the turkey skull into it, as you see in the third photo. The fox skull I put pine brown colored putty on it, and sprayed it with a matte finish, to make it look muddy. The two pictures before the head are of the artificial natural habitat. The artificial head is what I'll be using. It is a dead hanging pose, and will be placed on the blank board between the wings. Edited July 11, 2013 by Bowhuntertothecore29 BowhunterNJ 1
BowhunterNJ Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 That's pretty unique and cool! Nice way to capture a memorable hunt! Maybe you can frame that picture of you with the turkey and add it in there somewhere Bowhuntertothecore29 1
Bowhuntertothecore29 Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 Thanks a lot Bowhunter NJ! I was thinking of doing that!
Cousin Brown Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I really like It! Nice job!! Treestands don't demand, treestands don't complain, treestands simply ask me to sit down and listen.
