new regulation number

I  noticed they added a regulation set 7 , my zone has been set 8 for years and now it set 7.. anybody know why?

Did they add it, or just shift your zone into that one?  I didn't look at the sets, but pretty sure the lower the number, the more restrictive they are.  So your area might be targeted for less of a deer reduction, and they adjust the season lengths and bag limits (via the regulation sets) to control that.

The rearranged some reg sets.  For instance, they recently added "3A" just for zone 6 which I hunt often which has now been moved to "4" with several other zones.  Some zones got slightly more restrictive as deer population densities come in line with what the biologists want for each zone.
