I myself use the new "Armor" series from Otterbox. Because I do not have insurance on my phone. Waterproof for up to 30 minutes, dust proof, shock resistant and crush proof up to 2000 lbs. I also hear it will survive a "Push into a pool" too.. lol

I have the Realtree in the Defender series.  It is a hunter orange case, so I can find it if I drop it in the woods.  I've had it about a year now, maybe two.  The gasket is wearing off, broken in two places, and I've already broken two belt clips (maybe three, but definitely two).  As you can see I abuse the crap out of my phone.  Every so often I take the phone out of the case to clean it.  Dirty and other crap can creep inside over time, and the phone looks brand new.  If I didn't have the case, I probably would have shattered the phone a few dozen times.

Otter Box Products great investment.

Dropped my new Blackberry one morning getting out of the truck, phone hit concrete pavement.

The Otter Case saved the phone face, but was damaged.

The customer service center sent a new case, no charge.

All they needed was a pic of the damaged case.

Thumbs up for great service.

Got the armor also, think it's supposed to be waterproof for a half hour at 6ft.  If your under water that long you won't be calling for help.

I have the same as Haskell, I broke the belt clip, went on otterbox.com followed the directions and they sent me a new one, had it within days,,,,FREE!!!

Samsung has a new waterproof Droid as does Casio which is also shock resistant.  I've actually taken underwater photos with my Casio.  If you're an I-phone guy, you'll need the Otterbox.  But check out the two Droids I mentioned and no need to buy the extra box.

I have heard that the Otterbox Armor can be tough to hear (phone conversations) because it's so waterproof.  Anybody experience any issues like this?

MIne is ok. The volume is not booming but definately audible.

i picked up a Defender series.

the camo came off the back within a month.

 

i now have a white back otter box. lol
