Decided On Which Illuminated Scope.....

After BSing with LPJR about the illuminated crossbow scope he recommend, I went on to do some internet research on it. This scope got positive reviews overall, the price is less then $60. At this point in the game I didn't want to kill my wallet on both the crossbow and scope, due to the fact I will at best hunt 40% of  the time with the crossbow. Now of course if I enjoy it as much as others say I will then  in a few years upgrade the crossbow and scope.

Thanks for the advice LPJR !!!!!

You will not be disappointed Joe. Broke mine in last night, couldn't wait to use it....Just remember to pick up a CR2032 battery before the scope comes in so you are not running out to get one like I did at 9pm!

I have a hawke. This is my 1st season with it but its nice. Set the fps, zero it at 20 and its good to 50

I was all set to buy one until LPJR started preaching to me         but happy he did, saved me well over $100

Now if I wasn't going to purchase a illuminated scope I would of kept the scope that came with the crossbow, as I was very surprised as how clear/crisp it is...like many, it's shockproof, waterproof, etc.

  • 2 weeks later...

Used this scope for the first time yesterday with the lit reticles Joe. At last light, I dialed up the green illumination (just slightly) and the scope was crystal clear. The green circle stood out perfectly on the vitals. For the money, it is a home run. Have fun with it..

MY KI came with a lumex scope ( not sure who makes it but since KI owns Hawk its probably made by them).

they are about 80 bucks.

You can shoot it without illuminating the dots. or shoot it in red or blue mode.

I have yet to need to turn it on as all the way right to dark the scope gathers so much light the illumination isnt needed
