Maybe able to make it out Saturday, those that are turkey hunting this week are birds talking or more silent?

Been hit and miss so far this week... Up on the mountains in zone 6 things are winding down quickly... You can always get a bird or two to gobble but they're not responding or coming in strutting all that hot anymore.

They've been Gobble'n good on the roost but pretty quiet once they hit the ground....Good news is..The Older/Bigger gobblers are cruise'n for chicks, since the hens that have been keeping them company all season, are starting to sit.

Still hearing them in zone 6, but like droptine says, they seem to be settling down, my buddy is still hunting and can get them to gobble on the ground but has to get real aggressive with calling but they still have a few girls with them, keep at it I bet you can get a bird to work after say 10am

Hunt with a Vizsla, cause life's to short to hunt with an ugly dog! :D RIP Tilly monster. (Attila) 2004-2017.
