After 9 years of turkey hunting with A LOT of bad luck and no birds I'm done....for the season. I finally was able to connect and put a bird on the ground. Was done at 720 yesterday and I couldn't be happier, such a weight off my shoulders. Bird was 18.12 lbs, 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. Short and sweet season this year. Guess ill have to get an extra permit next year. Lol

Congrats, great bird too!

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
