I knew i could count on you guys. Happened at 7-11 near the college of NJ. Prolly a college kid. Maybe wasn’t even on purpose but, when they saw where it landed they could have retrieved it before it did damage. Just put the thing in the ashtray right outside the store for Pete’s sake...Got taken care of by rgw with a great offer! Good people on here

Wow that's insane.

I'd be hesitant to use the xbow.. that much heat for long enough may have caused dangerous damage..

I gritted my teeth and cocked it and shot it multiple times and unbelievably, it’s fine. I guess the heat went straight up thankfully. Just bought it a couple of month ago and it wasn’t cheap.

Thankfully I looked it up and i can buy just the cover and don’t have to buy the whole thing. Substantially cheaper!

What about your car or homeowner's insurance?  Check to see if you have coverage for crap damaged in your vehicle.  You might be able to file a claim and not sell all of your cool stuff.
