Not A Damn Thing, Well A Bear At 7 Yards !!!

So yesterday I headed up to where I turkey/deer hunt. I first went to my deer spot to change the SD card out on my cam, I had numerous pictures of does, two jakes and two bears. I then drove a few miles down the road to see if I could roost some birds in this way back cut corn field, just when I got to the corner of the field I hear then see the tracker, they where getting the fields ready for planting, I asked the guy how long, he wasn't 100% sure. He also told me he has seen much fewer turkeys this year in this zone. So this morning I decided to turkey hunt near my deer area, if I'm not deer hunting  I stay out other then checking the cam. Within 300 yds of my treestand location I kicked up numerous deer, they exploded and running in every direction. I get within 200 yds of my treestand location, and I sit down against a big tree, this is a high area, if a bird gobbles I will hear him. Just as it was light enough to see 50 yds. I hear walking from my right coming towards me, I'm thinking a deer, well it was a 150 lb bear with a nice white cheveron on her chest. This bear comes within 7 yds of me, she sees me but can't make me out (yes the finger was on the safety), bears have very poor eye sight, she takes a pee and crap walks off. Now when I'm bear hunting I see turkeys, then turkey hunting I see bears

where your bear taf on the front of your vest.  The turkeys will see it and think they're safe.  At least you were out there. Good luck  Joe.

lol  that's hunting bud!   Any day I see a bear is always a great day!

I love seeing bears as well. I now know of 6 different bears in my area this year

wow I need to come hunt with you!!!   I have enough trouble finding one once the season starts

I get so many pictures of bears many different ones. When the season for bears opens they disappear only to return a week after the season
