NICS.......How Long Are You Waiting?

If anyone that purchased a firearm, how long have you waited or have been waiting since the new NICS system has taken over?

 

I filled out the paper work on April 19th, and still waiting including Saturdays so far 7 days, I assume another week

 

 

If you want a new firearm for the 2013 hunting season, purchase well before the season to avoid the BS with NICS

i waited about 5 days on my last purchase about 2 months ago

all the paperwork I fax over has been taking about 8 business days...biggest pain in my ass.

Don't worry, more gun laws and more background checks "because I get a second look" will speed this up.

Happy to report that I just got the call the NICS is returned, going to pick up the shotgun in 45 mins
