Not sure if it's just me, but since the change I cannot seem to stay logged in.  I reset my browser and all, and when I do log in, I get the error shown in the attached screen shot.

I'm on a Mac Pro, Mac OS X 10.8.3, and am using Safari.  Everything is up to date, and the OS was just reinstalled a week or two ago (long story which geeks might enjoy).  So I'm not sure if it's a platform thing or something else going on with the site.

Oh, and I am not an anti-hunter, so if this is an anti-hunter feature, you got the wrong guy.  :)

Hmmm I'm on a Mac and using Safari too but no issues. It does set a cookie for logins, I'll see if I can find any related configuration issues or errors in the logs. If anyone else is experiencing similar logouts, please chime in here.

HH,

Any chance your IP is changing or you're changing devices between these log offs?

bob,

Where is your favorite linked to, what URL?  When you say blank page, do you mean entirely blank or an error page restricting access?

I have a static public IP address on my computer.  I am working on my laptop now and didn't get the error message.  Seems like it might be local to the desktop machine.  I just logged in from there and got the error.

HH,

Although I'm not familiar with the implementation of "Private Browsing" on Safari, just want to see if you are using that.  I'd imagine no, because I would think "Private Browsing" wouldn't save cookies (but you have one), but I could be wrong?  I can dig around on that bit more.

I just logged in and didn't receive an error.  Here's what I did.

I deleted the two cookies from the site.  I bookmarked the older URL and thought that might be mucking things up (cookie confusion depending on which cookie the site was reading, etc.).  So when I got to the site and the old URL was in the address field, instead of logging in I clicked on the new logo and got the new URL.  Then I logged in as usual and didn't get the error.

So it could have been a messed up cookie or cookie handling from Safari.  I am blocking 3rd party and advertising cookies, so the old URL cookie may have been considered a 3rd party cookie and mucked everything up.  I'm not sure.

But, no error this time.  Let's see if I stay logged in longer than an hour or so.

Definitely a cookie issue with the two different URLs.  If I go to my old bookmark, it asks me to sign in.  If I click on the logo and the page reloads, it shows that I am signed in.

I have been having the same problem with a I pad until today. It now seems to be working.

I spent most of my money on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.

Hmm I made a setting change a copy days ago to add a prefix to the cookie to ensure it was unique.  Not sure if there's something with how Apple products handled it before that.  I've only seen the log out aspect when I change devices, but I believe I currently have it configured that way.

Yeah the cookie management from the old site was a whole other system/software, so whatever got stored in that wouldn't be referenced correctly by the new software.

I would update your bookmarks even though the old link will redirect here automatically.
