“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear

Yes good luck all.I am going up this weekend to check on the flock of turkeys and make sure the boss I have been seeing is still there and hasn't been eaten by the yotes haha.Might try and smoke a couple yotes this weekend also after I open the cabin up.Plus the neighbor called and said he has pics of a big (over 500 pounds) black bear knocking over the burn barrel again.Time to get the rubber buckshot out.I have been trying this bear for 4 years and he just disappears come hunting season.

Hunting and fishing is not a sport to me its a way of life:rock:

Scoreboard updated 1-May, 8am

Team 3 is in first place with a hell of a bird from GobblerGetter.

Team 4 is in second place with a real solid beauty from Droptine

Team 5 is in third with a well-earned bird from BPskulls.

Keep at them everyone!

Dubs moves his team to within inches of 2nd place with his bird. Can BHC bring home the bacon...err turkey and move them into first?

NJBowman puts a bow bird on the ground that skyrockets team 3 into the atmosphere. Can another team chase them down this late in the game? With one more day of C week, 2 more Saturdays and both D weeks. There's still 13 LUCKY days of Spring Turkey left before the horn sounds.

Hey matty, Iosted a bird in the entries thread, I have a slight issue though I forgot to get a pic of the state sheet so I need a ruling. Lol

Hunt with a Vizsla, cause life's to short to hunt with an ugly dog! :D RIP Tilly monster. (Attila) 2004-2017.
