Waterbird17 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 we had a blast. too bad its hard to shoot them. it takes some getting used to. each guy must have shot 100+ times Deer huntin, chicken farmin, syrup makin, bee keepin, metal scrapin, duck hunter. pretty much...
hammer4reel Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 welcome to a new ADDICTION , Mike def offers a fun night out, and the misses make it even more fun. Throw in a few awesome hail Mary shots that connect and it gives you even more to talk about until the NEXT time you go. shooting a recurve alot helps when shooting instinctive , and the carp stack up pretty quick .
runum n gunum Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Sounds like you guys had a blast:up: and some sore arms:D
Waterbird17 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I can shoot a recurve real good. i just couldn't figure out that whole aim low or high or whatever because of the light refraction thing. Deer huntin, chicken farmin, syrup makin, bee keepin, metal scrapin, duck hunter. pretty much...
hammer4reel Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I can shoot a recurve real good. i just couldn't figure out that whole aim low or high or whatever because of the light refraction thing. you have to aim below them , the deeper they are the further below. Once you get the hang of it from hitting a few the real fun begins
Waterbird17 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 yeap, thats the fun of it. i thought i had it. I shot the 3 little cats in a row but then i was once again humbled by a 30 pound fish at point blank. hahaha Deer huntin, chicken farmin, syrup makin, bee keepin, metal scrapin, duck hunter. pretty much...
gobblergetter Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 If you really want a challenge....Give the Asian Carp a try
