It's actually very simple.

 

Buy 5 gallons of organic apple juice.  The reason you want organic is because the regular stuff may have preservatives that prevent yeast growth.  Pitch in cider yeast.  Ferment for a couple of weeks, maybe 3-4 if its cold.  Then I put it in kegs and force carbonate it.  You could put it in bottles and bottle condition it to carbonate there.  It's a very simple process, a heckuva' lot easier than beer.

That is completely awesome. My husband and I may have to try this, we don’t drink beer, only cider. Occasionally we’ll have a mixed drink, but we thought about getting a kegerator filled with woodchuck so we’d always have some

We make 200 gallons of apple cider every year. I'll bring some to the venison dinner whenever it happens.

I wish I could take the long drive up but I've been scheduled for overtime this weekend. I have to work day shift on Saturday and I'm working night shift now until 6:00 in the morning. Sorry I couldn't make it. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and maybe I'll see you all next year.
