Reminder Onsale Monday April 1 over the counter turkey permits

The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is reminding turkey hunters that the over-the-counter (OTC) sale of unclaimed and leftover lottery spring turkey hunting permits begins at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1.

 

Permits may be purchased online at http://www.nj.wildlifelicense.com/ and at license agents ( http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/agentlst.htm ). Hunters must have a 2013 hunting license to purchase a permit.

 

Turkey permits are sold by Turkey Hunting Area and Hunting Period. All Areas and Periods are available, but some Area/Period permits have limited numbers available.

 

The following Area/Period permits have fewer than 25 permits available:

 

12 A, B, E

14 A-E

15 A, B, E

22 A, B, E

 

Permit availability can be checked at http://www.nj.wildlifelicense.com/ALS/unit_report.php . When sales begin the page is updated in "real time" to reflect remaining permits.
