Bucks still carrying in Burlington County

I was driving home the other night and saw a nice buck (120-130") still carrying both sides. Was kind of surprised, but maybe that's why I didn't find any sheds last weekend on my first trip out down here

saw two bucks last night still holding, thought it was odd, but odd is the new norm around here.

I'm surprised with how cold it's been through march. Jackson hit a deer on the way to our tournament last Sunday...luckily he only grazed it lol

I've seen them holding into April in the past.

Yeah I've definitely seen them drop as early as December and hold as late as April before.

It's interesting to see how different parts of the state are though, an hour drive away and they could all be down already.

Maybe just different stress levels, different dynamics to the deer, I don't know.

they arent stressed from the winter. depending where you are at there isnt much snow so they have plenty of food.

I have not seen an antler in awhile. But I'm not getting many buck pics period.

out of the 4 bucks i have on camera regularly 3 are still holding their antlers

Have sheds on camera in Bergen County, but guys I know saw a big 8 carrying about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
