Who Uses A 20ga. For Turkey Hunting?

Does anyone here use a 20ga. for turkey hunting? I have a brand new Mossberg 500 combo, just need to purchase a turkey choke, and pattern. Not that I will hang up the Mossberg 835, just thinking that maybe during the season I change it up somewhat with a different shotgun

I have. Using an 870..patterns real good out to 30 yards. Also use a 11-87 thats patterns real good out to 40 yards. Both using 6 shot.

My Son with his first bird taken at 40 yards with a 20 ga, 21.5 lbs 10 inch beard with over 1 inch spurs.

I'm having no problem locating turkey chokes for a 20ga. but I'm having a problem locating a turkey choke for a Mossberg 500 20ga.

Opticsplanet.com shows they have the Mossberg X Factor extended ported choke in stock I think for 44 bucks.

I found the Primos Tight-Wad but on back order, 1/2 the price of the Mossberg choke

I'm surprised Cabeals doesn't carry the Primos Tight-Wad for the 20ga Mossberg 500

Yeah the tightwads are good chokes had one in a 1187 and patterned good but sold it when I got a jellyhead shot alittle tighter at 30 yards and beyond.

Spent, with both the Tight-Wad and Jellyhead, what ammo did/have you used? Also was it the 20ga you used?

No it was a 12that gun patterns remington duplex really well.There 3 chokes on eBay for the 20 on sale now a carlson a Primos tight wad and a undertaker choke all around 25 bucks I just looked
