Lead how much $

Just wondering how much you guys are paying for your lead for bucktails and bullet making. Just saw the spot price and it was 99cents up a penny since yesterday. I can remember when it was about worthless than jumped to 10 cents. Then 12 That was the last I followed it. but today while looking up other metals I saw it.

I bought a 700 pound sailboat keel for hundred and fifty bucks last summer from a friend at a scrap yard.Had another friend use the fingers on a excavator to make very little peices out of it to get into my pot.I thought it would have a lot of veal in it when melted but its pretty clean.Should get the through a summer of bucktails hahaha.

Of course the best lead is free lead!!!!

 

I had someone give me me a few buckets a while ago and it lasted. Normally I try to buy it clean already

yea the going price seems to be about a dollar a pound..which isnt all that bad if ya got the molds to make what ya want

That's for sure! Im always modifying molds to get exactly what I want.
