Hetley75 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Awesome fish. Would you keep it or send it back to the waters?
Woodrufflou Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Awesome fish. Would you keep it or send it back to the waters? Was thinking the same thing. I think if it was that big, you would want to weigh it and at that point, it would become difficult to keep such a big fish alive getting it to a certified scale "I am the MacGyver of cooking. If you bring me a piece of bread, cabbage, coconut, mustard greens, pigs feet, pine cones...and a woodpecker, I'll make you a good chicken pot pie." — Si Robertson
Palawman30 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Tough call You know its not going taste that good being that big. Other hand trying to make it to a scale is going to kill it PredaTorch.com Hot Estrous Doe and Other Deer Scent, Night Predator Lights
Spent Brass Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I would have to weigh it and that would kill it.A fish that big that is landlocked only comes once in a lifetime. Hunting and fishing is not a sport to me its a way of life:rock:
jkotys Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Whats even more incredible is that it weighed 15 lbs more then the old record. Funny how the record hasn't been broken in so long and then it gets beat by that much. There's gotta be more fish within that range but this one surely was special. Helluva a trophy!
