Does it need full sun or will it grow in the woods?

Like Livesintrees said it does need full sun to grow to its full potential in size and one planting will last 20 plus years or longer. I have been planting Egyptian Wheat next to it as a fuller screening effect until it matures. The Egyptian Wheat is on the right side of the photo.289991738_8-8-17MGandEW.thumb.JPG.6b24197fcca5c0d4378e64a2914fbd1f.JPGptian

I'm trying Egyptian wheat this year and it's coming up nice .  Maybe I will hit it up with some pot ash to give it a boost .

Egyptian Wheat loves nitrogen . I have used it on my property for screening and its awesome.
