BowhunterNJ Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 In light of some of the recent shed hunting pics, I thought it's be cool to add them to a community thread as well! Feel free to create your own thread for your shed hunts, but let's add the pics here too!
IanB21 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 we went all day and hard today. Hit two properties. In the morning we went to a public park that holds ALOT of deer. Found a dead head and 2 sheds in the morning. Went to one of my buddies archery only hunting properties, and boy did we hit a load of them. found 7 sheds, 3 dead head does, one dead head button buck, loads of dead snow geese, a dead fox and TONS of coyote scat. IanB21 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 i will make this short lol 8 hours of walking, 4 properties walked, 13 miles walked, one dead doe, one fox we almost stepped on and scared the hell out of us, 100 or more deer seen (no lie), and one 11" spike is the only shed we found. hearing lots of reports of bucks still holding yet. we even went to our secret spot that no one is allowed to hunt that we find monsters on every year and found nothing. crappy year so far, with trout season opening here in PA this saturday, i will maybe get out one more time in april.
