What knot do you guys like using when connecting braid to a mono leader?

definently the double uni knot!

I like the albright knot for heavier braid and mono joins, I find it can slip when you're working with really thing diameter and slick coated braids. Uni to uni is probably a better option in those cases.

Double uni is certainly nice. I also use the triple surgeons knot. Mark Nichols from DOA taught me that while he schooled me on trout fishing down in FL. He liked the triple surgeons because it held just as good as the others but was very very simple and after a little practice you can tie it with your eyes closed. His theory was every hlf second you can save by doing simple things quickly is more time your lure is in the water.

If I am rigging things up at home I sometimes use the double uni (just to make sure I can still tie it), but on the boat I am use tripple surgeon all day long.

Times like these call for a Big Lebowski
