Williemo Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 The last time my brother and I huned together was thirty years ago. Career paths took him to TN and me to NJ. For far too long, family and job have been keeping him from hunting, fishing, etc. Although we call each other regularly, we only get see each other maybe once a year. Never knowing what life is going to bring you next; I decided to fly him up, take him to Bent Creek and not let another 30 years go by. Man what a blast! A day to remember and a new tradition started...can't put a price on that:cheers: Seems like "the hill" has been a popular place this week! Gracie and Shadow worked their butts off... End of a thirty year wait...
Matty Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 That's OUTSTANDING!!!! Nothing in the world is more important (to me anyway) than quality time spent with family and friends. To me, it's what life is really about. And I can't think of anything higher quality than time spent hunting or fishing! Glad you guys had the chance to get out there and spend that time together! Don't wait another 30 years to do it again! Great pictures too! “I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
