Like the title says, we are talking cigars here.

 

I have smoked cigars for a while now but recently I have really gotten into the building of a nice collection of brands and smoking all different types from around the world. Really getting into all of the different tastes and flavors of tobacco depending on the brand.

 

Upgraded my standard desktop humidor to a 125 count fine cherry humidor.

 

Just wanted to start a thread in the recreation section to discuss cigars..

 

 

What are you favorite cigars and how do you like them? Feel free to add pictures!

I like Partagas and Montecristo's.

The best smoke I ever had was a 25 year old vintage Cuban H. Upmann. :rock:

I will check them out for sure! I like Partagas Cameroon Robustos.

 

Cuban H. Upmann is a good cigar. How as the taste? I cant imagine the price of the one you smoked. They normally go for about $25+ these days (i think)

Best cigar I ever had was in hondduras on a cruise we stoped at the port and as I was walking around I walked into a cigar shop with a friend and the owner said here try these so we bought a few Montricristos and these hand rolled local tobacco cigars they blew the Montis away nice oily smoke and great flavor.Went back to buy a box and the store was closed.Sucks but I am going back this Summer in July can't wait.

Cohíba Exquisitos is a nice one. My favorite is a Partagás 898 after about a year in the humidor

Ps the montecristos were 6 dollars apeice us money so if anyone wants some.let me know before July 16 and I will see what I can do 10 of us going so I can bring back alot

Don't know, it was from my buddy's stash. He has a walk in humidor loaded with ****** cigars. ;)

Its a house with a cigar leaf sign out front with the name cortez in the center. use the door in the back. smoking area upstairs and good game of cards on Thursday nights.:cool:

My bodies and I just went to the new CI that opened by Cabela's, great selections and good time just hanging out with friends beer and a cigar. Check them out if you haven't yet.

Also had a great selection of pipes too, I was going to buy one on the way out. Went down to the display as we were leaving and it was gone, I waited too long.

Just lighting up a Partagas Series D No 4 after dinner. Delicious robusto that goes great with some whiskey

well now we are talking! i had a HUGE cigar thing going before i had kids. i had the time to smoke them. not any more. i used to hang on www.cigarfamily.com and got into trading cigars. my wife would come home from work each day and find 7 to 8 priority mail boxes on my front porch loaded with cigars. i got to a point i did away with humidors. too small. i started to build cooleradors. i used 100qt coolers and lined them with spanish cedar. i was running 3 coolers at any time. i had 1000's of cigars. all gone now. coolers are what they are now. my favorites were cao anniversary maduros, padron anniversary maduros, lagloris cubanos robustos. had tons of opus x's, ashton vsg's, PAM's. now i'm lucky if i smoke one or two a year.

two words, JR Cigars. Nothing fancy but good bulk pricing. I wanna try the place at cabelers. Im only 22 so Im lacking in the expierance area of cigars but twice a week me and my buddies would go to Little Taste of Cudba in New Hope and get the good stuff. Love a robust full body cigar. Went good with beers and a N'Orleans burger at Frans Pub. Also love my merchsaum pipe, pack it full of some general bufford tobacco and a nice glass of jack and everything is happy happy happy.
